School, Ew.
School is about to start, are you ready? Well I'm not sure I am. Homework isn't the end of the world at least we can feel productive. And sitting in class, can keep us from sleeping our lives away. We can meet new people and create new friendships. And reconnect with old friends. These friendships make the struggle of going to school all worth it. And maybe it's just me, but relationships is the definition of my life. I love people, I want to be with others, I need to spend time with others. I find that in our downtime like summertime, we can be lazy and we might not reach out to spend time with others as often as we should. And with the coming school year we have this wonderful opportunity to spend time with others. Get to know them, care about them and their lives. Fellowshiping (so not a word) is what I believe we are here for, so we need to remember daily to try our very best not to isolate ourselves. Even though our time is limited between the activities we need to spend our time with like studying and working. Let's not forget, what we are here to do. Our sole purpose in life is to love the Lord and all others. It is the simplest of tasks yet for our self centered lives we struggle with this all the time. So we may feel like studying for this test means we must give up our social lives. But that would be a waste of a day, because we are given a small amount of time to do what was asked of us. This coming school year it is my goal to make friendships and get to know my peers around me. Spend time with others and learn to love without ceasing. And I hope that you have a goal for this school year too, and I pray we do our best to accomplish everything we wish for ourselves.
